ENROLLMENT AGE GUIDELINES
Enrollment is determined by age. Children should meet age requirements listed with each summer class offering by June 1st. All classes for ages 2-8 meet once per week. If you have any questions regarding your child’s placement, please email school@nashvilleballet.com and we will forward your message to their instructor!
Dance with me, AGES 2+
Dance With Me builds coordination and rhythm while introducing children to movement, music, and creative play. With the support of a parent, grandparent or caregiver, young dancers can experience peer-to-peer interaction and exciting, imaginary adventures. The goal in this class is to encourage participation and build confidence so the child feels comfortable coming to class on their own in the future.

JOY OF DANCE, AGES 3-4
This class fosters creativity through environment-based adventures. Students develop gross motor skills, control, and coordination. They work on hopping on two feet, galloping, and marching while understanding their bodies in relation to space.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT, AGES 4-5
In this class, students develop a greater sense of confidence and self-esteem within an environment that encourages expressiveness and joy of movement. Children learn increased control and coordination in their movements. They also enhance their listening, cooperation, and social skills in a nurturing environment.

Intro to young men's Scholarship program, Ages 5+
School of Nashville Ballet is excited to now offer Introduction to Young's Men's, a course designed to transition our young male dancers into our more advanced Young Men’s Scholarship Program. Intro to Young Men’s is also open to students without previous dance experience and will develop students’ coordination and strength, as well as the fundamentals of a classroom structure.

Pre-Ballet
Our Pre-Ballet levels require focus and active participation. Students begin to work on turnout and more complex movement patterns building up to work at the barre, center, and across the floor. The curriculum provides a strong link to the beginning levels of our Academy Division. Each class meets once per week.
PRE-BALLET I, AGES 5 +

PRE-BALLET III - AGES 7+
Enrollment and Tuition Policy
School of Nashville Ballet reserves the right to cancel classes due to lack of enrollment. Canceled classes will be prorated and refunded.
Enrollment is for the entire semester. There is no proration for scheduling conflicts. Classes are not transferable to other students.
In the case of serious injury or illness, refunds may be considered on an individual basis, are not guaranteed and may be subject to a 25% administration fee. Voluntary or involuntary withdrawal and missed classes are not considered eligible for refunds.
