Ballet Ball is Nashville Ballet’s most elegant annual fundraiser, bringing together over 600 of the city’s most prominent philanthropists and patrons of the arts for an elaborate black-tie affair. At $800 per ticket, the evening includes a glamorous cocktail hour, a gourmet seated dinner, and an exclusive gala performance by Nashville Ballet accompanied by special guest music artists. Ball guests then take the floor and dance the night away to some great music.

For the younger crowd, the Ballet Ball Late Party offers 20- and 30-somethings a chic evening of cocktails and dessert bites to be enjoyed while the Main Ball attendees partake in their seated dinner. Late Party attendees then have the unique opportunity to enjoy the special gala performance before dancing the night away with the other guests.

Community Impact

For more than 35 years, Ballet Ball has been the major source of funding for our Community Engagement and Education programs. These programs directly affect the quality of life for tens of thousands of young students and community members across Middle Tennessee.

Our Board of Directors, staff and Company artists pursue this mission through three initiatives: (1) uniquely Nashville performances that affect, challenge, transform and lift the human spirit, (2) high-quality dance training for children and adults through School of Nashville Ballet, and (3) Community Engagement programming that brings arts education to Tennesseans in 12 counties. With your ongoing support, we can remain committed to providing exceptional and accessible arts programming and training for schools, businesses, and community groups throughout Middle Tennessee.

Each year, Ballet Ball gifts more than a quarter-million dollars to Community Engagement and Education programs that reach thousands. These programs break down geographic and financial barriers, bringing FREE performances, programs, and training, to public libraries, schools, pre-kindergarten centers, and more

Research shows that the arts positively impact academic achievement, such as graduation rates and SAT scores (Americans for the Arts). Our programs are designed to be educational, inspirational, and inclusive, irrespective of socioeconomic status or ability to pay
