Previously
Yusuke Otake began dancing at the age of three. He won first place at the Youth America Grand Prix Japan Finals for three consecutive years, from 2020 to 2022, before going on to place third in Contemporary at the YAGP Final. In 2021, he joined Tanz Akademie Zürich, training under directors Oliver Matz and Jason Beechey, where his repertoire included the Tarantella from August Bournonville's Napoli, Ihsan Rustem's Only the Window, and Maged Mohamed's Rendez-Vous. In 2023, he continued his training at the Royal Ballet School's Upper School, working under directors Christopher Powney and Ian Mackay, and teachers Paul Lewis, Ricardo Cervera, and Kevin Ematon. 

During his time at the Royal Ballet School, Yusuke's repertoire included Blue Bird and the Three Ivans in Anthony Dowell's The Sleeping Beauty, Blue Boy in Sir Frederick Ashton's Les Patineurs, Ninette de Valois' Checkmate, the Neapolitan Dance from Peter Wright's Swan Lake, and Christopher Wheeldon's Christening Suite

Alongside his studies, Yusuke performed with The Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet, dancing the Hunt in Peter Wright's Giselle, as well as the Chinese, Trepak, and Cadet roles in The Nutcracker.

Yusuke joined Nashville Ballet as Company Artist in 2026.
