BIO
Summer Montenegro began dancing at the age of four in her hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. She trained at The Rock Center for Dance and later at Master Ballet Academy, where she performed soloist roles across the U.S., assisted choreographers at national competitions, and worked with renowned artists such as Travis Wall, Lacey Schwimmer, Rasta Thomas, and Krista King-Doherty. Her early commercial experience includes performances with Cirque du Soleil, Paul Mitchell, and Nike.

In 2023, Summer joined Nashville Ballet as a member of NB2. Since then, she has performed featured roles including the Spanish variation in Paul Vasterling’s Nutcracker, Frida Kahlo in Maria Konrad’s Día de los Muertos, and a standout role in Sarah Tallman’s The Tale of Two Worlds, which pushed her artistically and expanded her movement vocabulary.

In addition to dancing, Summer is a choreographer and teacher. Outside the studio, she enjoys baking, line dancing, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with loved ones. She is also featured in an upcoming dance documentary, which captures behind-the-scenes moments at the 2023 YAGP Finals.
