Students enrolled in School of Nashville Ballet receive 1 complimentary ticket for Nashville Ballet’s professional season*

*Applies to select productions in our season

We believe that seeing a professional performance is an integral part of a student’s dance education, and so Nashville Ballet is offering a complimentary ticket for use in the 2019-2020 season.

ROMEO AND JULIET

SEPTEMBER 20-22, 2019
TPAC’S JACKSON HALL

Romeo and Juliet is recommended for students in levels 4+ of our Academy. These young dancers are likely studying Shakespeare in the classroom, and seeing this production reinforces their traditional education. What's more, this grand-scale production demonstrates the tremendous depth of emotion and athleticism that Nashville Ballet's Company dancers possess thereby challenging aspiring professionals to reflect on the skills needed to excel in their training and progression.

A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

NOVEMBER 1-3, 2019
TPAC’S POLK THEATER

Nashville Ballet is the first North American company to premiere Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s critically-acclaimed adaptation of the Tennessee Williams classic, A Streetcar Named Desire. Mature students that are prepared for the serious subject matter of this production will witness a historic accomplishment for the organization and the artists on stage.

NASHVILLE'S NUTCRACKER

DECEMBER 7-23, 2019
TPAC’S JACKSON HALL

Artistic Director Paul Vasterling’s take on the quintessential holiday classic is recommending for students in our Children’s Division. Nashville’s Nutcracker is filled with the charm and magic needed to capture the attention of our youngest students while giving them the not-so-distant goal of dancing in it as a youth cast member.

ATTITUDE: OTHER VOICES

FEBRUARY 14-16, 2020
TPAC’S POLK THEATER

This season’s Attitude series is recommended for aspiring professionals looking to experience more contemporary work. Witnessing world premieres from four of the dance world’s hottest up-and-coming choreographers will give students a deeper understanding of the evolution of the artform and challenge them to think more creatively about what they can express through movement.

MODERN MASTERS

APRIL 24-26, 2020
TPAC’S JACKSON HALL

Featuring Christopher Bruce’s Rooster, Christopher Wheeldon’s After the Rain, and a newly reimagined version of Artistic Director Paul Vasterling’s Seasons, the Modern Masters program boasts works by ballet’s leading neoclassical and current choreographers. A repertoire such as this is meaningful and challenging for Nashville Ballet’s Company dancers, driving them to perform at new levels; this high caliber of artistry will spark further passion in the hearts and minds of students watching.
