Nicholas Mihlar began dancing at the age of 11. He received his formal training at Tanz Akademie Zürich, where he performed works by Dinna Bjørn, Jon Ole Olstad, Seh Yun Kim, and Maged Mohamed. He went on to dance professionally with London City Ballet, performing in Kenneth MacMillan’s Ballade, Ashley Page’s Larina Waltz, and Christopher Marney’s Eve, with Larina Waltz being a personal favorite for its joyful movement and natural partner work.

Nicholas then joined ABT Studio Company, where his repertoire included Amy Hall Garner’s Within the Sunset, Houston Thomas’s U Don’t Know Me, and “The Rose Adagio” from The Sleeping Beauty.

Outside of the studio, Nicholas enjoys teaching, choreographing, acting, baking, skimboarding, and playing volleyball.
