ABOUT:
School of Nashville Ballet's Community Division Adult Classes offers a welcoming environment for students ages 18 and up of any experience level. Whether you are new to dance, rediscovering a passion for movement, continuing your dance education, or finding new ways to stay fit, Community Division Adult Classes can help you achieve your goals. Community Division Adult Classes are offered on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Enrollment and Tuition Policy
School of Nashville Ballet reserves the right to cancel classes due to lack of enrollment. Canceled classes will be prorated and refunded.
There is no proration for scheduling conflicts. Classes are not transferable to other students.
In the case of serious injury or illness, refunds may be considered on an individual basis, are not guaranteed and may be subject to a 25% administration fee. Voluntary or involuntary withdrawal and missed classes are not considered eligible for refunds.
Class Policies
Dancers may not enter class more than 15 minutes past the posted class start time.

Attire
Come as you are! There is no dress code for Community Division Adult Classes. Athletic apparel that is comfortable for you is suggested. While ballet slippers are helpful for the Introduction to Ballet class, socks may be worn instead. Ballet slippers are encouraged for the remaining ballet classes, as well as contemporary class. Sneakers are recommended for DANCEFIX. Students may wear warmups over their dance attire.
About Our classes
DANCEFIX
DANCEFIX is A high-energy, dance workout class featuring original, diverse choreography for beginning and experienced dancers alike.
Fast Track is a great class for returning DANCEFIXers. It will be an hour and fifteen minutes of reviewing the most difficult moves from our current DANCEFIX class. You must buy the special $25 Fast Track pass to attend this class.
BEGINNER BALLET
A 90 minute class covering the basics of ballet technique, coordination, vocabulary, and love of dance. Level 1 is for absolute beginners with little to no prior experience. Level 2 is designed for dancers who’ve already begun their ballet training and want the challenge of a faster pace.
INTERMEDIATE BALLET
For students who have completed Beginner Ballet or a similar level of training. Dancers will expand upon the fundamentals and will continue to develop their technique, musicality, and artistry.
ADVANCED ballet
For dancers with 4-5+ years of training, this class pace accelerates as dancers progress their technique and focus on the strength and flexibility required for a more advanced vocabulary.
pointe
A class dedicated to Advanced level dancers with previous experience en pointe.
CONTEMPORARY
Explore the fluidity and expression of Contemporary dance. Available for dancers of all levels and those new to this discipline.
Musical Theatre
For all levels, this class introduces choreography and music from popular musicals. Build upon new rhythms, theatrical expressions, and integration of multiple styles.
jazz
Dive into the energetic world of Jazz music and Jazz dance technique. Available for dancers of all levels.
Tap
Master the art of rhythm, sound and traditional tap dance techniques.
