As soon as she joined NB2 in 2010, Sarah Cordia became an important part of Nashville Ballet’s Community Engagement Program as well as the company’s regular performance season.

Cordia quickly advanced to become an apprentice with Nashville Ballet in 2011, and then joined the full company in 2012. Since joining the company, she has performed as Snow Queen and Sugar Plum Fairy in Nashville Ballet Artistic Director & CEO Paul Vasterling's Nashville’s Nutcracker, Beauty Fairy and Diamond Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Cygnets and Pas de trois in Swan Lake, and Flora in Vasterling's Carmina Burana. In 2016, Cordia was featured in Banning Bouldin's Dare to Dance Alone, a part of Attitude. She has also performed works by Gina Patterson, Christopher Stuart and Salvatore Aiello.

Before joining NB2, Cordia trained with Maniya Barredo at Metropolitan Ballet Theatre. She also trained with Christina Hampton, Roscoe Sales, Orlando Molina and John Magnus. While at Metropolitan Ballet Theatre, she earned the Young Artists Merit Scholarship from the National Endowment of the Arts.

When she’s not dancing herself, Cordia travels around the country as a guest teacher and is studying to earn her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
