An accomplished performer in his native Brazil, Augusto Cezar brings an impressive resume of international training to his position at Nashville Ballet.

His training and experience provided him the opportunity to represent Brazil at the 2010 USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi, where he was selected as a semi-finalist.

Since arriving at Nashville Ballet, Cezar has performed as the Jester in Nashville Ballet Artistic Director & CEO Paul Vasterling's Cinderella, Blue Bird in The Sleeping Beauty, the clever Bonvolio in Vasterling's Romeo & Juliet and the title role in Vasterling’s world premiere production of Peter Pan. He was also featured in Dominic Walsh's The Whistling.

Cezar spends his time outside of the studio singing everywhere and anywhere (although he admits he's not the best singer) as well as exploring Nashville with his friends.
