Ballet Ball 2009 “The Best is Yet to Come” Platinum Anniversary Gala

Loews Vanderbilt Plaza
March 7, 2009, 6:30PM

Plans for this fabulous twentieth anniversary event are underway. Acknowledging the platinum anniversary milestone, co-chairs Dallas Wilt and Lisa Slipkovich are dedicating this year's Ballet Ball to the men and women who have served as Ball Chairmen over the last twenty years. These past chairmen have donated a great deal of time and energy to the Ballet's largest annual fundraising event and are responsible for countless improvements to the Ballet's school and community outreach programs. Ballet Ball 2009 is influenced by legendary choreographer Twyla Tharp's piece "Sinatra Suite". The romantic dance is set to a medley of Frank Sinatra songs and will be performed by Nashville Ballet during the Winter Series. Ballet Ball 2009 will feature the sophisticated color scheme of black, bone, platinum, and "Sinatra blue". And, of course, the night wouldn't be complete without Pat Patrick and his best Sinatra crooner serenading guests throughout the evening. 6:30 pm cocktails 8:00 pm dinner and program 9:00 – 12:00 pm dancing For more information on attending Ballet Ball and the preceding events, please contact Julie Eskind at 297-2966, ext. 30.
