Christopher Stuart, originally from Sandy Hook, Conn., began his formal training with Steve Sirico, Angela D'valda Sirico, Franco Devita and Charles Kelley. He graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts in 2002 under the direction of Melissa Hayden, Warren Conover and Duncan Noble, then joined Nashville Ballet 2 (NB2) in 2002 and performed with the main company in many performances.
Since joining the company in 2003, Mr. Stuart has been featured in several pieces by renowned choreographers such as Paul Vasterling, Heather Maloy, Gina Patterson, Sarah Slipper, Thaddeus Davis, James Canfield and numerous others.
He also performs as a guest artist with Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance, Configuration Dance Theatre, Quixotic Fusion, Missouri Ballet Theatre and National Choreographic Initiative.
Mr. Stuart teaches ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary classes. He has taught classes and intensives for Nashville Ballet, Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance, Harding Academy School of Dance, Harding Dance Academy, Performing Arts Center of Connecticut and numerous others.
