Romeo & Juliet

Presented by:

April 26 - 28, 2013 at TPAC's Jackson Hall

with The Nashville Symphony
Music by Sergei Prokofiev
Choreography by Paul Vasterling

They had a love so powerful that nothing could contain it – not their feuding families, their youth – not even life itself.

Romeo & Juliet tells the ultimate story of love through emotionally laden choreography, action-packed fight scenes and theatrical performances.

Grand production elements and period costumes help tell Shakespeare’s familiar tale about love, revenge, fate, passion – and their consequences.

Described by The Tennessean as “enthralling” when it debuted in 2004, Vasterling’s Romeo & Juliet translates the unforgettable romance of these “star crossed lovers” into dance.

Romeo & Juliet will be held at TPAC’s Jackson Hall for three performances:
Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m.
