Princesses and Frogs

Presented by Nashville Parent

May 12-13 and 19-20, 2012 at The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet

Part of Nashville Ballet's Family Series

All performances of Princesses and Frogs are SOLD OUT.

This hour-long children’s ballet experience is inspired by The Sleeping Beauty and the popular children’s book Jump, Frog, Jump by Robert Kalan.

In this portion of The Sleeping Beauty, fairies bestow their magical gifts upon the baby Princess Aurora, thrilling young children with their colorful costumes and classical story.

Jump, Frog, Jump is completely narrated and retraces the story from the beginning each time a new character is added, allowing children to participate and develop memory skills.

Children will see portions of both ballets then will have an opportunity to participate in an interactive activity and learn some of the dances presented on stage.

Princesses and Frogs will be held at The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet for four performances:

Saturday, May 12 at 2 p.m. - SOLD OUT

Sunday, May 13 at 2 p.m. - SOLD OUT
