From a young age, Aubrey Clayton studied at various ballet schools including Cullman Ballet Theatre School, the Alabama School of Fine Arts and Bossov Ballet in Pittsfield, Maine. However, she has received most of her training right here at Nashville Ballet. Clayton began training with NB2, Nashville Ballet's second company, and was promoted to company apprentice in 2015. During her time with Nashville Ballet, she performed in many Community Engagement Programs and danced with the main company in such pieces as Cinderella, Nashville's Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Billy the Kid, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, Peter Pan, George Balanchine's Serenade and Nashville Ballet Artistic Director & CEO Paul Vastering's Carmina Burana.
Her favorite works are Emergence with Banning Bouldin, Vasterling's Carmina Burana, Gina Patterson's ...but the flowers have yet to come and Christopher Stuart's Under the Lights.
In her free time, Clayton is a student at Belmont University and loves spending time with family and friends.
