Audition Information
Each year Nashville Ballet conducts a national audition tour to find dancers for company and apprentice contracts, candidates for our NB2 programs and students for our School of Nashville Ballet Summer Intensive.
About Professional Company and Apprentices
The Professional Company offers a minimum 32-week contract, with competitive salary, 401k, health insurance, wellness committee including physical therapy, chiropractic and orthopedic surgery and other benefits.

Dancers interested in our NB2 programs can audition at either a Company or Summer Intensive audition.

Alternate Audition Options for Company & NB2
If you are unable to attend one of our auditions during our audition tour, we welcome your audition via one of these alternate options:
Appointment
Dancers can schedule an appointment to take company or NB2 class in Nashville at the Martin Center for Nashville Ballet. Please contact Ballet Master Tim Yeager by email at tyeager@nashvilleballet.com to make an appointment.
Audition fee: $25.00

DVD or YouTube submission
Dancers can send a DVD or YouTube video link of a classical variation and contemporary work. No barre work please, however center work can be included following the variations. All submissions should have musical accompaniment.
When submitting a DVD, please include:

Dancers who audition by video may be asked to visit Nashville for the artistic staff to evaluate them in person. If asked to travel to Nashville or an open call audition, the audition fee will be waived.
The deadline for all DVD/YouTube audtions is March 1, 2013.
Summer Intensive Open Call Auditions

Summer Intensive Alternate Audition Options
Appointment
Dancers can schedule an audition within an existing School of Nashville Ballet Academy Division class. Please contact Please contact School of Nashville Ballet Principal, Nicole Koenig to make arrangements.

• Pointe shoes (Ladies should plan to wear pointe shoes for center work)
DVD or YouTube Submission
Dancers can send a DVD or YouTube video link of barre, center and pointe work. Only one side of an exercise is necessary and submissions should not exceed 20 minutes in length. All submissions should have a musical accompaniment.
When submitting a DVD, please include:
